Cā;
Here's a quick list of things which are yet to be done. The order is
random.
A history of LISP development.
An example in the applications section which is strictly
non-numerical. There should be a usefuland non-trivial application
in business data management, but I haven't had time to dredge one up.
Any suggestions are welcome.
Problably more should be said about searching. A quick tour of linear
search and hashing is inadequate.
There should be an epilog for the whole book. This is part of a
larger venture to be included in the last section.
The sections in storage and efficiency are not too polished; the
discussion of strings needs improvement. The section on "running on
the machine" is bad.
There should be at least a quick tour of machine organization, paging
etc.
Many more problems are desparately needed. Any suggestions will be
beneficial.
The discussions of call-by-value and call-by-name are not strong
enough. call-by-reference should at least be defined.
The last section has been left out since it is in a state of flux.
It covers an introduction to MTC through LISP. It is a good lead-in
to Manna's book.
